Presenter. MC. Professional Overthinker. With his electric blue hair, smoky-eye makeup and eccentric sense of style, JNewtz has never been particularly good at blending in. In the 1990s, he might have been mistaken for the frontman of a punk band. “I look like this because Dad's English and Mum's in Green Day.” Inspired by the razor-sharp wit of Jimmy Carr, the unapologetic observations of Ricky Gervais and the gloriously ridiculous worlds of Monty Python and The Goon Show, JNewtz combines clever observations, mischievous humour, absurd characters and impressions with a healthy disregard for taking life too seriously. However behind the colourful exterior and sharp tongue is someone who has spent much of his life trying to understand the world around him — and himself. Discovering he was on the autism spectrum, alongside his ADHD and dyslexia, gave JNewtz a completely new perspective on life. His first hour-long solo comedy show, Identity Crisis, explored that journey through humour, honesty and self-reflection. What surprised him most was how audiences began opening up about their own experiences, embracing their differences and finding the confidence to be themselves. It changed his outlook on comedy. Not because he suddenly became sensible, politically correct (that will never happen) or started filtering every thought before it escaped his mouth. God forbid. Today, JNewtz continues to question social conventions, challenge popular thinking and poke fun at the contradictions of modern life. Curious, outspoken and occasionally outrageous, he prefers seeing the world through his own peculiar combination of scepticism, childlike curiosity and downright silliness rather than blindly following the crowd. Beyond stand-up, JNewtz brings that same energy and personality to presenting, MC work and live event hosting. Whether he's commanding a stage, hosting trivia or entertaining audiences on camera, his love of performing and connecting with people is unmistakable. At the heart of it all is a simple philosophy: life is strange, people are complicated and none of us really knows what the hell we're doing. So embrace what makes you different, question the nonsense, laugh at yourself and enjoy the ride. After all, being normal is terribly boring and overrated. JNewtz — A little bit different. A little bit ridiculous. Entirely himself.
